Products Inspired by ATL's Best Farmer's Markets
One of our favorite parts about spring coming to the South is the reopening of all of our favorite farmer’s markets. Rows of tents are set-up, tables are filled with fresh produce, and onlookers admire the latest harvest. Ahhhh, the sweet scenes of spring. There’s nothing quite like them. Since so many of our natural products incorporate seasonal produce, oils, and flowers, we thought we would bring you some of our favorite products inspired by Atlanta’s best farmer’s markets:
Freedom Farmer’s Market:
Location: Carter Center
Best Known For: Their gorgeous produce. Freedom Farmer’s Market was formed by a small group of farmers, so you can bet you’ll find some incredible produce here. Purchase your fruits and veggies and pick up a bouquet of fresh flowers for your dining table, too.
Inspired Product: Packed with the most powerful anti-aging fruits from around the world, our 100% Pure Super Fruits Reparative Cream, represents Freedom Farmer’s Market well.
Grant Park Farmer’s Market:
Location: Grant Park, the area surrounding the Milledge fountain
Best Known For: Grab and go meals and goods. Pizza? You’ve got it. Sandwiches? They’ve got that, too. While Grant Park definitely has it’s fair share of fantastic produce (like the rest of these markets, too!), we love their ready to eat options perfect for family dinners.
Inspired Product: HollyBeth Organics Rose Geranium Face Kit is essentially a four course meal for your face. It includes every aspect of a good skincare routine: gentle foaming chamomile face wash, rose geranium toner, rich moisturizing rose geranium face cream and eye cream. Yum.
Morningside Farmer’s Market:
Location: Parking Lot next to Morningside Kitchen
Best Known For: Being a small, neighborhood market. Morningside Market is on the smaller scale as compared to it’s larger counterparts, but don’t let that fool you. This neighborhood market packs a lot of punch and brings the bigger market to the local neighborhood.
Inspired Product: Since Morningside Farmer’s Market is all about that small town vibe, we’re pairing it with our HiQ Facial Serum. This is newer, local brand has only one product, but they do it oh so well. HiQ features amazing, powerful ingredients and lovely packaging. Plus it was the 2015 NEXTY Editors' Choice award winner in beauty category. An all around winner in our book.
Peachtree Farmer’s Market:
Location: The Cathedral of St. Philip
Best Known For: Being a one-stop shop. You can find anything from ready-made goods like cutting boards to small-batch jam, grass-fed beef, eggs, bread, and more. You could do all of your grocery shopping here and pick up the perfect hostess gift without making more than one stop!
Inspired Product: Stay sun safe all summer with our Suntegrity 5 in 1 Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen. Much like it’s farmer’s market partner, this product does it all: treats with antioxidant rich ingredients, hydrates as a daily moisturizer, provides protection with SPF 30, and primes for heavier foundation or powder. And did we mention you can wear it on its own since the tint provides just enough coverage to even skin tone for a natural glow? Perfect for hitting farmer’s markets.
Westside Farmer’s Market:
Location: Westside Provisions, the lane between lululemon / Yeah! Burger and Yoforia
Best Known For: A great addition to an already bustling area. If you didn’t catch it from the “lane” description, this farmer’s market is small; just one row of vendors. However, you’re bound to find something fresh and fabulous in addition to your J.Crew. Tippi sweater.
Inspired Product: If you’ve already fallen in love with RMS Beauty, Master Mixer is a great addition to your repertoire. It works as a bronzier version of the popular luminizer. Use it as a highlighter in summer months, or try it on lids or mixed with your fav lip2cheek for a new lipstick later. The possibilities are endless, and its addition to your makeup bag will be welcomed.
